Sat at the quayside at Appledore on a warm sunny day, I have my watercolour pad, watercolour paint palette and a Chai Latte. A walk to the bakery for fresh bread, it’s so lovely to pause by the water, take in the bright sunshine and cooling breeze, it’s hot weather for the next few days and it’s a welcome feeling. A lovely little blue boat pootles by, the sailor looks so relaxed and leisurely happy too. I capture the moment with my watercolours and fine pen.
