Sun tipped, whispy clouds as the sun disappears below the horizon after another sweltering day in July. Clouds change colour in a Chameleon like way until nightfall.
At only 5 x 5 inch - a little jewel of a picture for the wall, mantle or shelf to bring a little pop of colour to catch your eye. A memory of watching skies, a moment to absorb beauty and wonder, all so good for the soul.

The force of incoming tidal waves, rising high in succession, tumbling towards you on the shore.
Capturing a spellbinding, mesmerising moment in nature, a fragment of our blue planet, the vast swirling seawater catches flashes of reflected, twinkling sunlight dancing on the surface and in the sea spray, as if jewelled by trillions of diamonds.
Painted over time from endless, en plein air studies and research by Johanna, while standing on the shores of the Celtic Sea and Atlantic Ocean.

Finding shell’s on the beach are like finding jewell’s to me, each has a distinctive and cleverly made shape. I study them so closely and love to draw them.
This is an original art work, the shell is hand drawn with fine pen, laid onto a gold leaf circle with a black canvas background which gives an instantly chic, classical and stylish feel. This beauty will look good in a traditional or contemporary interior design scheme.
As you move around the room the canvas shimmers in different light, day to night. The gold glows sensationally and adds tasteful, gentle glamour. We can all do with some of that!
